A Project Between Visibility and Sustainability
The competition for the new Headquarters of the Vergero Group, a company active in environmental services for industry and agriculture, provided an opportunity to develop a project capable of translating the client’s brand and vision into architectural form.
The building is located on a narrow, elongated site near the northern ring road of Turin. From this infrastructure it takes its origin, extending parallel to it and forming a screen wall that serves both as a visual landmark and as a buffer for the adjacent production area.
The proposal revolves around the concept of visibility: the intervention is conceived as a symbol for the entire Group. This visibility is achieved through the interplay of natural and artificial light within the office building, as well as the visual impact of the installation facing the ring road. The office block presents itself as a transparent glass box which, during the day, reflects the sky, and by night transforms into a luminous lantern.
